Dear Give Children Hope,
First month was indeed full of excitement and gratitude from all of the
children, the parents and the teachers of Sua Elementary
School.
They were all surprised that Give Children
Hope's - Meals @ School was there on the very first day of the start of
the school year 2012-2013.
Thanks to all the sponsors, for your love and generosity. You have blessed many people here through this great program. We are all doing well.

Dear Sponsors and Friends,
It has been a rainy month of June for us here in the
Philippines but our June 12th Independence Day was well celebrated being declared
as a "National Holiday".
The children have been so busy in their first month in
school. They usually have a program for Independence Day. Children perform national songs and dances during the school's independence day program.
It's really fun to see these children participate and share their talents
during these kinds of school events.
With the start of school, the children have started their
daily meals program. Thank you for entrusting your donations to Give Children
Hope, because of you, the Meals at School Programs continue.
The children have
been enjoying the Meals at School Program of Give Children Hope for the past
month and they are so looking forward for the coming months as they are being so
blessed by this program. The parents of these children have always been very
supportive of this program of Give Children Hope. This program is indeed
instilling in them the value of being united for the benefit of their children.
We actually gathered some thoughts from the children on how they were blessed
by the Meals at School Program of Give Children Hope and we would like to share
with you the highlights of their letters:
Kennedy, 4th grade -- Because of the meals we get at school,
I can do best with my lessons.
James -- It's so yummy, thank you for helping in our
nutrition
Isabel --- It makes my body healthy, everyday we have a
nutritious feeding
Angelo --- The food we eat is very yummy and sweet, the
feeding is very important because it makes the students in Sua Elementary
School healthy.
Those are really heartwarming coming from the sincere hearts
and thoughts of the children. Your every dollar donation really makes a great
difference in their lives.
June was a great month for the more than 600 Give Children
Hope sponsored children in the Philippines.
In addition to the daily Meals at School for the children of
the Maravilla and Sua Elementary Schools, Give Children Hope sent
ten shipments of over of 1,300 much needed children's reading and math
textbooks.
Don Cooper, Jr., our Philippines Give Children Hope director
for the Philippines, did a great job of coordinating the children’s textbooks
project and personally paid for the ten
shipments of the donated books.
The help we are extending to the children are going far beyond the daily meals the children receive and we always hope that we could do more. The children are excited as they await the books to reach their schools and provide added learning and fun for them.

For these blessings that you have been extending to us, we
really cannot thank you enough. But as you celebrate your Independence Day on
July 4th, we hope that it will be filled with love and joy.
There are so many things that we should be thankful for. All
the volunteers here in the Philippines as well as the children in Sua and
Maravilla Schools would like to extend our love for all of you and prayers for
your families. You have always been so kind to us.
With love from all the sponsored children and us here in the
Philippines.
